The Black History Trip 3 provides exciting and educational tours of the Apollo Theater, African American Museum in Hempstead, NY, and the Studio Museum in Harlem.

For the Apollo Theater Tour students experience firsthand the world famous theater that has launched the careers of artists such as Michael Jackson, Lauren Hill, and Stevie wonder.  During the tour, students tour the facilities while learning about the history of the theater, and even have the opportunity to perform on stage!

At the African American Museum, students will participate in a hands-on Civil Rights workshop that helps students explore and understand the history and significance of the Civil Rights movement.

At the Studio Museum in Harlem students will see and experience various African-American art exhibits.  Additionally, students will participate in a hands-on workshop in which they create their very own works of art using the techniques they learned from the exhibits.
