The Black History Trip 1 consists of exciting and educational tours of Harlem and the African American Museum located in Hempstead, NY. At the African American Museum, students will participate in a hands-on Civil Rights workshop that helps students explore and understand the history and significance of the Civil Rights movement.
The Harlem tour is a driving tour that highlights the historical aspects of Harlem such as the Cotton Club, Abyssinian Baptist Church, and Sugar Hill.
